I finally finished my sculpture! Im really happy with the result, its the first time I finish a full character in clay, and modeling something with movement was a challenge, but I loved every single moment of it. =)

So that's it guys! Im starting my 2yr program @ Gnomon, after so many years of dreaming and studying, Im starting to fulfil an old dream. I met my classmates yesterday and learned somethings about my new school. Lets hope for the best! Im sure giving my best for sure!

I've started this piece last year, and I've been changin it a lot... But I just work on it when I have nothing more important to do, really just for fun... So, is getting done sloooooooowly. I liked to try recreating fur with clay, very fun! And I like my she-satyr with dreadlocks. =)

I've been doing some sketches about Alice in Wonderland for my graduation project and did this small quick piece after lunch...

One sketch for the queen of hearts... This one is too sweet to be her, for the concept Im going for, but I liked as a quick ilustration. I did some testing on textures... I will try to use that more often...

Still working on this piece... I had a piece of advice from my newest teacher, Don Seegmiller, from CGWorkshops. The classes being very challenging and Don is very nice and helpful, he and the other students gave me some tips, and Im not quite sure of the colors yet, becouse the mood changed a bit, but I like the sense of depth and lights, I guess its more belivable. Still, lots of stuff to do and finish, but Im taking my time with this one, not rushing at all... The changes in the light and other stuff made the drawing look a little weird, but I will fix that soon enough this weekend =)

So! Im going to get some free time again! And since I need to start finishing my pieces becouse a decent folio is needed, Im back to this wip. Its still a wip, but I really like the mood. I've reworked the anatomy, becouse I did it on a gestual thing very quickly before and to put my idea there, and didnt really stop to look on anatomy itself. I did some resizing on the legs and mainly worked on the guitar's body. Wait for more soon guys!

Its been a while since this design ran on threadless but I never posted here the finished design!! So Im doing it now... It didnt win on scoring and stuff, but I was happy with the result. Im not a very vector person, but I love the colors, the blending modes of vector reminds me of watercolor.

Here is the slaphscreen I did for the awsome game Jules: Unboxing the world, along with some of the tons os screenshots I painted for the boys at the Sulistas game studios. It was a very nice job, my friends Iko and Chips were the coolest clients ever, I wish there was more freelance jobs like this one. Anyway, if you got an Ipad, I strongly recommend this game since is fresh, innovative, beautiful and above all, FUN!

I tryed to do a quick portrait, but features are really hard to get right on the beginning sketch. So it took me a looooong time to get some things right, such as mouth and right eye. But its just a study, so, I wont be spending too much time fixing anyway...

Done in aprox 4hs(2h just for fixings...bleh).

Anyway, this was based on a little composition I did with some stuff I had at home. I took a picture with natural light from my window. Here is the reference pic:

Its not exactly the the same, and I learned reflections are really hard... But it was fun to make! =)
